Piercing Policies

Here at Diamond Eyez, we follow regulations as set by the Louisiana State Health Department. This means we follow a set of guidelines to which clients will have to adhere to. Please read below to inform yourselves of the documents you will need to provide to receive piercings within our establishment.

What do I need to get a piercing?

Persons over the age of 18 need only provide a state-issued ID, passport, or military ID.  No piercings will be performed on anyone without proper identification.

We will not perform piercings on persons under the influence. It is wise to have eaten 4 hours prior to your procedure. 


 

Piercing for minors

 Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. A certified birth certificate must be provided along with ID. A parent must provide a photo ID for both themselves and the minor. State-issued ID, passport, military, or school ID, are the only documents we will accept. In case of a name change, please provide proper paperwork. 

No surface piercings or intimate piercings will be performed on anyone under the age of 18, NO EXCEPTIONS

Earlobe piercings: Age 4+
Cartilage piercings (helix, rook, tragus, conch): Age 12+ 
Nostril and navel piercings: Age 15+

Children’s ear piercing

and what they need..

We provide earlobe piercings for children 4 years of age and up (sorry no babies). Earlobe piercings will be performed at the piercer's discretion. The child must be able to request the piercing and have the ability to understand aftercare instructions.

A parent must provide their state ID as well as the child’s certified birth certificate.
